"Offering a quality education at an affordable price"
Hello everyone! I am Khanh from Vietnam. I am a former student at Highview Christian Academy. I went through my freshman, sophomore, and junior years at HCA. Although Highview is a small school, its quality is beyond good. Why do I say so? Because Highview provided me attention, love, and the right knowledge. My journey at HCA was smooth until the year I left Highview. That time was my junior year. I heard the pretty call of California so I moved there because I could not evaluate how much Highview meant to me. I went to a big school with some hundreds of students in California but it did not make me happy. I missed the family atmosphere, the friends I made, and the teachers I loved in HCA. I decided to come back to Highview. I amazed many people with my decision but at the same time, I was welcomed home by them. I learned a lesson to treasure what I had. This year, I am no longer at Highview due to some personal reasons. I wish I could graduate from Highview. I hope any student who goes to Highview will make it through the graduation at Highview because the graduation there is unforgettable.
Let me talk about Highview, the best school that I have been to. As a foreigner coming from a big city in her home country, I was speechless when I entered Highview’s gate.  I thought the school was too small to search for a good education. Three years there proved that my thought was wrong. In my opinion, Highview is a lovable environment where students can show their abilities without hesitation. Because of the small-sized classes there, each student has full attention from his teachers. The teachers at Highview are extremely caring, friendly, and patient. Highview hosts many great events, giving the students the opportunity to gather and know about each other better.
At HCA, the students are not friends. They are more like family members. Everyone talks to each other, cares, and listens. I learned new knowledge every day going to school. There is one fact about Highview that I am thankful for.  It is the Bible class every first period of the day. At the beginning, I could not open my eyes in that class since it was the first class of the day. After a while, I felt the connection with God through that class. I went to church with my host family every Sunday which was neat. My host parents were true Christians who show their kindness in every aspect of life. They answered my questions about God with deep details and prayed for me whenever I needed prayers. Now I am proud to be a Christian. I love God because He brought me to Highview, gave me wonderful memories there, and wrote me a new page of my life. I should mention Mr.Philbrick. He takes care of the international students well. In other words, he spoils the international students. He gave us opportunities to do many activities such as celebrating our traditional New Year, going on trips and having us spend time together with other international students.   He is a hearted man. Even though he acts as if he does not care, he actually watches every action we students do. Highview has its stand today because of his hard work. Students at Highview should give him credits for providing them the good times that we can only see after graduating from there. I would recommend Highview to families who look for a school to send their kids. Let the kids experience the trueness of a family-like school.
